Re Cue is a fusion Japanese restaurant in Shibuya. The seating arrangements are really nice. They have small rooms in the back that can seat around 4 people, and they have an ‘al fresco’ section (perfect on a cool spring night), but their best seating is the ‘couple seats’ in the middle of the room. The seats are arranged in an ‘L’ shape so you are sitting next to your partner, and not opposite. That closeness plus the cozy lighting makes this place perfect for a romantic date. It is definately not the spot for a boy’s night out!

Also not to be missed is the Chicken tasting set (Jidori no tasting set). Re cue will provide grilled chickens from 4 areas in Japan well known for their free-range chicken. It’s fun to eat and compare the different kinds of chicken, and each one does taste a bit different.

Address: Shibuya Jinnan 1-18-1 Museum for SHIPS 4F. (03-5459-5365) 10 minute walk from Shibuya Hachiko Exit. Around the corner from Friday’s
